In 2016, I was selected as a Translation Fellow for the Yiddish Book Center’s Translation Fellowship Program, a program which aims to train, support, and encourage Yiddish literary translators. With the generous support of the YBC, I completed a book-length translation of J. Lemel’s Holocaust memoir, Teg fun shrek (Days of Terror). An excerpt is available here.
I have recently undertaken the translation of Alfred Grant’s Pariz, a shtot fun front (1958).
I am currently developing a course on translation for the French Department at Gettysburg College.
From 2013 – 2018, I served as the Yiddish and French editor and treasurer for Princeton University’s translation journal Inventory where I was responsible for soliciting, selecting, and editing translated works.
